Merging differing materials and table parts, the Soft Borders Table is commissioned by Looiersgracht 60. The steel structure, which is passivised, and the wooden top are blended by colour. The colours appear naturally ranging from light yellow to light pink and mint green. Depending on the colour of the steel, where wood and steel meet, the wood takes over the colour of the steel, creating a whimsical effect. Colour thus engulfs the object. This table finds its origin in Arles, during a workshop on Colour Geographies, in collaboration with Henriëtte Waal.
